If you complete the application/contact form on this website or otherwise get in touch with us, the following personal data may be processed: full name, phone number, e-mail address, city of residence, age, gender, and any information regarding the health complaints you share with us. Health data is considered a “special category of personal data” and is protected with particular care.
Your personal data is processed in order to evaluate your appointment and application requests, carry out a pre-assessment, contact you and provide information, plan medical processes and answer your questions. Data relating to your health complaints is used solely for medical evaluation and for the healthcare processes conducted with you.
Your personal data is processed on the basis of your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Special categories of personal data, such as your health information, are processed only where you have given explicit consent (KVKK Art. 6; GDPR Art. 9(2)(a)). Ticking the consent box on the application form constitutes your explicit consent to this processing. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
As a rule, your personal data is not shared with third parties. Your data is shared solely for the purpose of evaluating your application, directly with Prof. Dr. Tibet Erdogru and the medical team involved in providing the healthcare service. Your data is not sold, rented, or transferred to unauthorized third parties for marketing purposes.
Your personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was processed and for the statutory retention periods stipulated in the relevant legislation. When this period expires or when you withdraw your consent, your data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized in accordance with the applicable legislation.
You have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed and, if so, request information about it; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad; request rectification of incomplete or incorrectly processed data; request erasure or destruction of your data within the framework of the conditions set out in the law; request that rectification/erasure/destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred; object to any adverse outcome resulting solely from the automated analysis of your data; and claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
